There are many theories concerning the origins of playing cards. One legend has it that they were invented in China in AD 1120 to provide amusement for the Emperor Seun-Ho’s concubines. Others assert that their origins were Indian, rather than Egyptian. The latter based it on the belief that the word Tarot was devised from Ta-Rosh, the Egyptian meaning ‘Royal Way’. This course explains the difference between Tarot Cards and ordinary playing cards, describes divination and spreads, significant meanings, intuition and a full in-depth explanation of this delightful Mantic Tool. It also teaches you responsibility, professional counseling and the code of ethics, which is inherent in the very fabric, and symbolism of Tarot.
